Netberg has updated OpenSwitch network OS to its x86 based 10G/25G/100G Ethernet switch products.
New features include full Layer-3 protocol support, VxLAN and HW-VTEP for Network Virtualization, device provision and management via Linux standard shell, support for OpenFlow and OVSDB for SDN applications, and integration with OpenStack.
“We’ve made a big step by integrating OpenSwitch with latest OF-DPA release,” – said Andrew Sapronov, CTO of Netberg. “Along with new Layer2/Layer3, management, and Data Center features, OpenSwitch is now capable of seamless integration with SDN controllers using industry standard Open vSwitch tools.”
