Taipei, Taiwan 24th of April 2018.
Two new server platforms featuring AMD EPYC™ 7000 series processors have arrived, the dual socket Demos R250 M4 and a single socket Demos R210 M4.
Both machines are 2U universal servers, supporting full AMD EPYC processor stack, they offer an innovative balance of computing power to abundant IO and memory.
Up to 32 high-performance “Zen” cores and two terabytes of DRAM per socket are aligned with 128 PCIe Gen 3 lanes for unprecedented performance and expandability.
The Demos R250 M4 system supports 12 3.5″ or 24 2.5″ frontal hot-swappable drives in a 2U enclosure, four of them can be NVMe SSDs, plus two 2.5” rear SSD drives. It features two sockets and 32 memory slots (2666 MHz DDR4 RDIMMs) with up to 4TB memory capacity, 6 PCIe Gen 3 expansion slots, and two OCP mezzanine slots. A rich variety of OCP mezzanine cards include 1G-100G LAN range and multiple SAS HBA/RAID controllers. Power supplies and cooling system are hot-swappable and support redundancy.
The Demos R210 M4 system supports 12 3.5″ or 24 2.5″ frontal hot-swappable drives in a 2U enclosure, eight of them can be NVMe SSDs, plus two M.2 NVMe internal SSD slots. It features one socket and 16 memory slots (2666 MHz DDR4 RDIMMs) with up to 2TB memory capacity, and 6 PCIe Gen 3 expansion slots. These expansion slots can house various accelerators, IO, and storage controllers to fit the variety of applications. Power supplies and cooling system are hot-swappable and support redundancy.
