The remote syslog server does not collect logs.
A bare minimum logging configuration looks like this:

logging syslog source-interface serviceportThe “show logging” command shows the number of relayed messages. It should be more than zero:
Log Messages Relayed : 168
In that case, the network administrator should check the settings for typing errors and the network for packet drops.
